Mumbai: A small road argument in Mumbai turned into a big fight, leading to the arrest of former cricketer Yusuf Pathan’s in-laws.
The incident happened at night in the Byculla area. A man was driving home when his car went through a water-filled pothole, and some water splashed on a person walking on the road. The driver stopped and said sorry, but the other man got angry and started arguing.
Soon, the situation became worse. The angry man allegedly broke the car’s glass with a stick and attacked the driver.
After this, the driver decided to go to the police. But on the way, he was again stopped by a group of people, including Yusuf Pathan’s father-in-law and other relatives. They allegedly beat up the driver and his family.
Police checked CCTV cameras in the area and then took action. Three people, including Pathan’s father-in-law, were arrested. One more person is still missing, and police are searching for him.
A case has been filed for beating and causing injuries. The arrested people have been sent to jail till May 2.
