Mumbai: After the Assembly election results in five states, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said the victory is a major moment for the country and the party.
Speaking in Mumbai, Fadnavis said this is not just a normal win but a “big change.” He credited the success to the hard work of BJP workers and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said thousands of workers from Maharashtra went to West Bengal and worked day and night during the elections.
Fadnavis also spoke about West Bengal politics. He said when he visited the state, some people questioned BJP’s connection to Bengal. He replied by saying that Syama Prasad Mukherjee was from Bengal, showing the party’s roots in the state. According to him, the people of Bengal have now clearly shown their support.
He added that the results in Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry show strong trust in Modi’s leadership. He said people believe that development and change are possible under strong leadership.
Fadnavis also criticized previous governments in Bengal and said people were looking for change. He said the results are proof that voters wanted a new direction.
He further said that this victory is not only for the BJP but for the people of India, and it marks the beginning of a new phase of growth and progress.
