New Delhi: A big political issue has started inside Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The party has removed its MP Raghav Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha.
Senior leaders Saurabh Bharadwaj and Anurag Dhanda strongly criticized Chadha. They said he is not focusing on serious national issues in Parliament and made fun of him by saying he talks about “making samosas cheaper at airports.”
Anurag Dhanda also claimed that Chadha is “afraid of PM Narendra Modi” and is not speaking strongly for the country.
The leaders also said Chadha refused to sign an important proposal against the Chief Election Commissioner. They added that when AAP MPs protested and walked out, Chadha stayed inside the House. He was also blamed for not speaking about the arrest of party workers in Gujarat.
AAP has now suggested the name of Ashok Mittal as the new Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha.
These changes are happening after some big events in the party, including the arrest and release of party chief Arvind Kejriwal. Chadha has also not been very active for some time, which has raised questions about his future in the party.
